Norilia is proud to announce that its Hide and Leather operations have achieved full certification under the Leather Working Group (LWG) standard, ensuring 100% compliance with its strict traceability criteria. Hides and skins from cattle, sheep and goats are 100 % traceable in the Norilia Nordic production chain.
What Does LWG Certification Mean?
The LWG certification is an internationally recognized standard for responsible leather production. It evaluates traceability, environmental impact, resource efficiency, and overall quality. By adhering to these requirements, water and energy consumption is reduced, waste management is optimized, and sustainability is promoted throughout the production chain.
